ABOUT SABRINA
As a female who was criminally exploited from a very young age, Sabrina draws on her personal experiences to provide expertise training, advice and guidance to a wide range of professionals and organisations who work with children and young people who are at risk of exploitation.
Sabrina is passionate about raising awareness around child criminal and sexual exploitation.
As a county lines educator, Sabrina has designed unique and impactful training on County Lines, exploitation and grooming and coercive control. This is presented through the lens of someone with lived experiences. These training sessions are to educate and raise awareness to further improve the response and support of frontline workers. Sabrina has collaborated with Statutory organisations as well as Non Government Organisations and charities such as Victim Support, Barnardo’s & The NSPCC, where she has been able to explore her lived experiences of exploitation to help improve the attitudes, understanding and delivery of services.
Sabrina has recently delivered a workshop at HMP Bronzefield to a group of young female prisoners. This was a pilot which was very well received and is due to be a regular thing moving forward.
In the last 9 years, Sabrina has worked directly with young people and their families who have been either involved in, or affected by exploitation and county lines. Sabrina has put in place numerous interventions to protect these young people from further involvement in crime and exploitation. Sabrina’s work with a number of organisations, including, Missing People and Victim Support has made great changes to the lives of the children, young people and their families through a wide range of bespoke, tailor made support and 1:1 mentoring.
