About Me
As a woman who was criminally exploited from childhood, I draw deeply on my lived experience to train, advise and guide professionals and organisations working with children and young people at risk of exploitation. Through the lens of someone who has been in the system, I bring raw honesty, credibility and insight that traditional training often lacks.
Over the past nine years, I have worked directly with young people and families affected by exploitation and county lines involvement. I have developed bespoke interventions, delivered one-to-one mentoring and co-created training with frontline services — all with the aim of improving understanding, responses and outcomes.
My consultancy collaborations span statutory organisations, charities and specialist agencies, including Victim Support, Barnardo’s and NSPCC. I also piloted a workshop at HMP Bronze field for young women prisoners, which has now been adopted as a recurring programme.
At SH Consultancy CIC I design engaging, trauma-informed and experience-led training on county lines, criminal exploitation, grooming, coercive control and other hidden harms. My mission: to empower organisations to identify, prevent and respond to exploitation with compassion, clarity and confidence.
